Escaping Syria's brutal civil war, 27-year-old Muhammed Alismail moved to Turkey seven years ago. He is now a student of environmental engineering at Karabuk University. After being treated for Covid-19 by Turkish doctors, Alismail decided to donate blood plasma to help other patients as a gesture of thanks for the hospitality he has received in Turkey.
