Thousands of American graduates have decided to put their graduation gowns to good use. As hundreds of Covid front-line workers continue to work with only trash bags for protective gear, this noble idea lets graduates donate their gowns as PPE and become life savers. Among the most poignant donations were gowns sent by parents whose sons and daughters died years ago, before they had a chance to graduate. The gowns were just too precious to part with -- until now.
