Millions were inspired by Captain Tom, who became a national hero by raising $40 million for the U.K's National Health Service. Not to be outdone, a 100-year-old man is now walking laps in his East London garden during Ramadan to raise funds for coronavirus victims in the U.K., Bangladesh and dozens of other countries. Dabirul Choudhury, a devout Muslim, is fasting while he walks. So far, he has raised about 75,000 pounds ($92,700).
