Folk artists and craftspeople across India have found creative ways to spread awareness about safety measures against Covid-19 through their art. Traditional art has often been used in India as a form of communication. Beautiful illustrations and paintings of people and mythological figures wearing masks, social distancing and washing hands have been created by artists from Indian states such as Bihar, Rajasthan and Orissa. It's a great initiative by Dastkar (India's prominent society for crafts and craftspeople) in these tough times.
