For 22-year-old Aleksandra Kuchukova, the streets of Warsaw have become a stage. In March, she fled Ukraine at the urging of her parents. One of the few belongings she took with her was her beloved saxophone. She began busking to earn money for rent and saved enough to bring her 10-year-old brother George safelyinto Warsaw. Though the uncertainties of their future are many, she continues to belt out songs on her sax as her brother dances and waves the Ukrainian flag. She hopes to return to the Ukraine one day, but for now she is happy knowing her family is safe as she begins to build a new life in her adopted country.
