American actor Liev Schreiber helped World Central Kitchen volunteers prepare a ton of brisket for a traditional Passover meal big enough to feed thousands of Ukrainian refugees arriving in Poland. In a video, he cited the ancient phrase Jews use during Passover, "Let all who are hungry come and eat." Schreiber's work for Chef Jose Andres' organization began when he cooked up a vat of borscht that served 1,500 people. He shared a photo of the huge tub on social media. “World Central Kitchen continues to be the rockstar NGO serving and feeding those who have lost nearly everything," he said.
