Although his wife has only one lung left to breathe and he is afraid of her catching coronavirus, retired Kansas farmer Dennis Ruhnke decided to send one of the five masks he owned to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Telling Cuomo to give the mask "to a nurse or doctor in your state," he wrote a moving letter that Cuomo read out at a press conference, struggling to hold back his tears. "You want to talk about a snapshot of humanity," he said. "You have five masks, what do you do?"
