Jonah Docter-Loeb, a senior at Georgetown Day School, was disheartened to see that front-line workers were going without personal protective equipment, due to shortages across the U.S. Inspired to take action, Docter-Loeb sought advice from online 3D print experts to ask for ways he could print PPEs from home. His idea blossomed into "Print to Protect," involving more than 100 3D printers creating and distributing dozens of PPEs in the Washington, D.C. area.
