As the situation in Ukraine worsens, refugees are finding safe haven in Hungary. Budapest resident Eszter Zombory-Balogh furnished a vacant apartment owned by her father to provide shelter to two families, one from Odessa, the other Kyiv. The refugees share meals and care for young and old alike. Through the bonds they are forging, Zomborg-Balogh and others made the Ukrainians feel welcomed into their families.
