In 2017, Rachel Hartley was a tourist in New York City's Times Square. That day, a man had driven deliberately into a crowded sidewalk. As everyone ran away, Rachel ran towards. Three years later, the Intensive Care Unit nurse is doing it again. Answering the call for emergency nurses, she sailed nearly 250 miles over 34 hours, to give her support. Rachel sailed from Virginia with her husband to provide reinforcements to hospitals in New York City. Rachel will call their boat "Turning Point" home for the next few months while she provides medical support to those who need it.
