Lesley Less, 58, is a civil servant in Heighington, England who has prepared a room in her home to welcome Ukranian refuges with open arms. After setting up a post on Nextdoor, and being inundated, she’s been sharing information on how to register online to house Ukranian refugees. She said, “I'm going to contact local schools and doctors to see what process will be in place once the refugees arrive." She plans on setting up a WhatsApp group to help those in the county welcoming Ukranians into their home as well as the Ukranians themselves.
