As applications come in for the “California For All College Corps” program, starting in the fall 2022 semester, focus will be on admitting low-income students and “dreamers”. University of California President Michael V. Drake said, “California is and always should be a place where education turns dreams into reality, where people from all backgrounds and walks of life can succeed. Where we use our talents to make the world a better place." Governor Gavin Newsom announced on Tuesday, January 18th, that 45 California colleges and universities will be part of the $10,000 tuition subsidy program for students doing community service while in school and can also earn academic credit.
