Known as "Baby G," the small western lowland gorilla is the first baby gorilla Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has had in over 130 years. He currently weighs at 7 poundsand still growing. Zookeepers built a warm blanketed nest in the pen for Baby G. A surrogate mother later came by, sniffed him, and took the baby gorilla under her care. She gave him food, playfully bounced him, and put him on her back.
