Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. An 11-year-old boy from Muskogee, Oklahoma, Davyon Johnson is one such hero, saving two people on a single day. While at school, Johnson noticed a classmate was choking and stumbling. He quickly performed the Heimlich maneuver and his classmate coughed up a loose water bottle cap. Then, later that evening, Johnson saw an elderly woman with a walker on her porch attempting to leave her burning house. Seeing that she was not moving fast enough to escape, Johnson rushed across the street to help her get into her truck. Both the sheriff's office and the Muskogee board of education recognized the young man for his courageous acts.
