Safari operator Pankaj Shah has taken a step back from giving his usual safari tours to focus his efforts on helping local Kenyans amidst the coronavirus crisis. Shah has taken multiple steps to help, such as feeding thousands of poor families. Volunteers helping him, who call themselves "Team Pankaj," have sent out 24,000 boxes of food, each with enough to feed a family of 4-5 for up to three weeks.
