105-year-old Julia Hawkins recently set a world record when she competed in the Louisiana Senior Olympic Games. She ran 100 meters in just over one minute and is the world's oldest female competitive sprinter in the world. She is also the oldest American and the first woman to run 100 meters in her age group. Hawkins started racing at age 101. She stays in shape by jogging and usually does a mile or two a day. "I love to run and I love being an inspiration to others. I want to keep running as long as I can. My message to others is that you have to stay active if you want to be healthy and happy as you age," Hawkins said.
