The Amur leopard is one of the most endangered cat species in the world. Experts speculate that there may be only one hundred left in the wild. So when Marta, an Amur leopard cub, was born at the Santa Barbara Zoo, visitors and zoo keepers were ecstatic. "This is a great experience for not only our staff here and surrounding community, but for the species in general," said Loreno Muro, the Santa Barbara zoological manager. "It's a huge success."
