Fifteen-year-old Jasen Bracy is a starting quarterback for the Modesto Raiders. Blind since he was seven years old from retinoblastoma, he never let that be an obstacle to his playing. "I never used even once that I can't see as an excuse. Never have, never will," says Bracy. He is able to suit on his uniform, master techniques, and memorize the positions needed for each play. The opposing team often cannot tell that Jasen is blind. The young man hopes to reach the National Football League some day. In addition to football, Jasen also excels in swimming, golf, baseball, and wrestling.
