According to a recent survey by Junior Achievement, nearly 70% of teens believe fixing climate change is a shared responsibility of everyone. There's this saying that we haven't inherited this planet from our grandparents, rather borrowed it from our grandchildren, says Haaziq Kazi, a 15-year-old from a Connecticut. At the Summit for a More Sustainable Tomorrow, the panel of experts urged the younger generation to recognize their role as consumers greatly impacts sustainability efforts. How consumers choose to spend their money influences which companies are rewarded.
