Yoshio Kinoshita is 81 years old and has taken up a new hobby: skateboarding. The Japanese man bought the board at a market selling unclaimed items from a train about two years ago. He took the learning process slowly; for a while he could only stand up on the board while holding onto a railing. Kinoshita likes hanging out at the skatepark with kids a quarter of his age and learning new tricks from them. He is not afraid of falling and he views the exercise as a way to prevent dementia. He thinks skateboarding improves the ability to think. In his spare time, he works at a bicycle parking lot.
