78-year-old grandmother Barbara Prymakowska completed a race up a 1,986 meter peak to the top of Tatra's Kasprowy Wierch in a speedy 1 hour, 45 minutes. “Now the weather was perfect," said Prymakowska. "It is true that I was running on one lung but with a smile on my face and the joy when I reached the finish line was huge.” This is the 10th time she has participated in this race. She also took part in all the major world marathons such as in Tokyo, Boston, Chicago, London, and New York. While she did not start participating in marathons until she was in her 50s, as soon as she started she "caught the marathon bug."
