China's Mid-Autumn Festival is just over a week away, and the festival's traditional delicacy, mooncakes, are popular. But snacks that are not for sale are proving unexpectedly popular. Pictures of mooncakes from the Shanghai Mental Health Center are being shared widely on social media, which many think suggests a change in the stigma once associated with mental illness. A food blogger who's tried all six flavors - purple yam, taro, milk and cheese, green apple and plum, peach and oolong tea, and coffee and chocolate, says they're a winner. People of all ages have (mental health) needs, and we are fulfilling those needs," says a doctor at the hospital.
