Bangkok Community Help has 400 Thai and foreign volunteers who deliver 3,000 hot meals a day and up to 600 “survival bags”. When hospitals became overcrowded, volunteer doctors brought oxygen to their homes. We Care For Ourselves, a group of Bangkok residents, created an online platform to match needs in camps with donations. While things are improving, the group says they’re hearing more about ongoing needs in city slums.
