Tom Rice, who was a paratrooper in World War II, recently celebrated his 100th birthday. His activity of choice: jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. It was a bit different than the jump he took in 1944 over the Normandy countryside in a prelude to the D-Day Invasion. He has made other jumps since; a few years ago he returned to France and recreated his 1944 jump to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the invasion. There's a lot to be done and a lot to live. It doesn't make any difference what age you are, but do it! End of paragraph, said the enthusiastic 100-year-old.
