Fitness expert, Joe Wicks of Yorkshire, has been running free online classes every weekday for children and parents to encourage fitness during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic. This initiative was rewarded with an MBE and thousands of followers. When the Murphy family heard about an outdoor event organized by Joe Wicks, they were quick to buy tickets. The children aged four, seven and 11 were big fans of the trainer, known as the Body Coach, and had followed his online PE sessions throughout lockdown. However an accident involving a crane held up traffic and the family ended up missing the event. Their disappointment turned to delight when their hero led them in an impromptu mini session "He let our children have that little moment of fun it was only a minute or so, but it made their day," says the delighted mother.
