36-year-old Coloradan William Drumm shared a selfie with a whale shark 20 miles off the coast of New Mexico. The giant whale shark was swimming with its mouth wide open, as many whale sharks do, feeding on the fish eggs and plankton in open waters. After a few tries, Drumm timed his shot perfectly so that the "beautiful behemoth" and he were both smiling in the same photo. "They swim pretty fast, so it took me a few tries, but I think I got a few images that worked," said Drumm.
