Uruguay's National Emergency System, Sinae, reported last Saturday that they have had no recorded from Covid-19 deaths in their country for eight months since December 2020. The country's excellent vaccination campaign is showing great promise, with the country currently having only 1,619 cases as of last Saturday, a sharp decline from the 37,000 hospitalizations earlier this May.
