"I want to be able to share my love of literacy with as many people as possible," says 10-year-old Orion Jean. The young man from Texas is on a mission to donate 500,000 books to children in need. He hopes that children can meet stories, places and people they otherwise would not have known were possible through literature. It all started from winning a student kindness speech contest; since then, Jean was inspired to launch a "Race to Kindness" campaign asking people across the country to donate their used books. So far, he has collected more than 120,000 books. "It causes a ripple effect, and that's what it's all about."
