An 11-year-old English boy who lost his sight at age six due to a rare degenerative condition is now able to play the sport he loves, thanks to a football that makes a sound and goalies who call out so he knows where the net is located. Mikey Poulli was devastated when he could no longer play after losing his sight to rod-cone dystrophy, but then his school got its hands on an audible football. Now Mikey, who was scouted by the Football Association when he was eight, trains with their coaches, has met a host of football stars and hopes to one day play for the England blind team.
