Ricardo Muro is an artist who turns prosthetics into superhero armor for children for free. He uses a hydro dipping technique, wherein he lays a film down on water and it is then transferred onto the prosthetic. He got the idea when his own children came to his studio and were helping him; they were thrilled with some hydro-dipped Halloween masks he made for them. He then got the idea to do this for children who use prosthetics, with the belief that they would also feel like superheroes. Muro went on Instagram and asked for help in identifying kids in need and then got to work bringing joy to children. He does this anonymously, seeking no credit for the good deeds. For him, it's about the joy it brings the children and how that makes him feel.
