He put his life's dreams on hold, and his mother got a second chance at life. Au'Qwon Turner donated part of his liver for a transplant after his mother's autoimmune disease worsened. An earlier transplant attempt had failed on the day of the planned surgery. Turner and his mother, Tashawn Jones, spent hours in surgery and days recovering.
