Though not catering to all dietary restrictions, the app may be a dream come true for those passionate about reducing food waste, on a budget and who love sampling a wide variety of food. The icing on the cake? For restaurants and grocery stores, it's free marketing. And for consumers, the sheer quantity of food in each surprise bag is indeed (positively) surprising!
