Taking an in-home pregnancy test is now both completely private and completely biodegradable when flushed, says the US health care company LIA. The non-traditional test is ultra-thin and made with paper. A special coating keeps the handmade test firm during use, the company says, but it dissolves in water when the test is flushed in the toilet and biodegrades in as little as 10 weeks. LIA says it also offers a branding-free package for those seeking further privacy.
