Eleanor Love, a medical student, wanted to maximize her impact on the care team by delivering beautiful flower bouquets to hospital patients. So she started a project called The Simple Sunflower, where volunteers would collect leftover flowers from weddings and rearrange them into individual bouquets for hospital patients. With this project, Love was able to deliver flowers to more than 760 patients. Being able to help deliver the flowers to those patients is very meaningful because you just see those patients' faces light up," she said.
