There's an unusual tradition in the Sand Bar on Tybee Island, Ga.: Visitors sign dollar bills and stick them on the walls of the pub. Affected by the coronavirus lockdown, bar owner Jennifer Knox wracked her brain over how she could help her unemployed staff. Sure enough, she decided to take off all that idle cash. Thanks to a team of five volunteers who spent three and half days removing and cleaning the money, $3,715 in cash was collected for direct support.
