Researchers in India have developed the mobile "OxyJani" group concentrator to meet emergency needs for oxygen. In the wake of the second wave of Covid-19, India has suffered shortages of medical oxygen. A team at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research came up with a solution by developing the OxyJani, whose portability addresses supply chain issues and the challenge of catering to people with acute and chronic oxygen needs throughout the country.
