Beautiful lifesaving conversations happen in bathrooms too, as co-workers Tia Wimbush and Susan Ellis can attest, when they realized they could each be a match for the other’s husband, both of whom needed a kidney. Antibody tests later revealed that each woman was an excellent match for the other’s spouse. One conversation, two lifesaving decisions and three months post-surgery later, the Ellises are planning to join the Wimbushes for their son’s first college football game in North Carolina.
