Students from Ecole Lacombe Composite High School are helping the University of Alberta with making a satellite to monitor forest fires in the area. The high schoolers have been working on a camera that detects infrared waves from fires for a 3D replica of the satellite. "It's definitely really cool to see that you a high school student can do something as big as a satellite in space," 11th-grader Levi Sulzle said.
