One man's idea to clean up the harbor in Maryland's largest city has become a social media sensation. "Mr. Trash Wheel" grew from John Kellet's idea to deal with the trash that flowed into Baltimore harbor after it rained. Powered by the river's flow and solar panels, Mr. Trash Wheel gobbles up trash -- 3 million pounds so far -- and is monitored from Kellet's smartphone. The idea proved so effective that the business community added three "cousins," including "Gwynnda the Good Wheel of the West." People come from miles around for selfies, and there are t-shirts, a fan club and a fan fest -- as well as a clean harbor and useful information for city officials.
