In Spain, November 4 has become "wear a skirt to school day," with thousands of male teachers joining The Clothes Have No Gender campaign to show children that clothes should not dictate how they are treated. The campaign began last year, when math teacher Jos Pinas objected to the expulsion of a pupil who had worn a skirt to class to show support for feminism and diversity. Two primary school teachers recently joined the campaign after hearing homophobic slurs directed at a pupil because of the t-shirt he was wearing.
