The east African country of Kenya has donated 12 tons of tea, coffee and what Kenyans call groundnuts (peanuts) to help India during its Covid-19 crisis. The Indian Red Cross Society will distribute the packets across the state of Maharashtra with food aid. Willy Bett, Kenya's high commissioner to India, came to Mumbai to hand over the donation, which is directed to the frontline care givers who continue to work long hours to save lives.
