An eight-year-old boy who sold his Pokémon card collection to save his sick puppy has received a package of rare cards from Pokémon employees. “Hey Bryson, we were so inspired by your story about selling your cards for your dog’s recovery, these are some cards to help you replace the ones you had to sell,” they said. A fundraiser set up by his mom to raise $800 for vet bills has brought in more than $5,000 -- and his puppy is back home and doing well. The extra funds will help other sick pets in Southwest Virginia.
