A Pakistani charity has offered to send 50 ambulances and medical staff to help neighboring India as a second wave of Covid-19 cases and shortage of oxygen and hospital beds threatens to overwhelm its fragile health care system. The Edhi Foundation, which runs one of Pakistan's largest free ambulance services, made the offer on Friday, when India reported record numbers of cases and deaths. Relations between the two countries, while strained in recent years, have been thawing recently. India has not yet responded to the offer.
