A 300,000 solar sanitation project is bringing hot water to all 92 government health clinics in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) for the first time. Serving about 10,000 people daily, the hot water stations will increase hand washing to help combat Covid-19, which killed the country's leader in December. Poor roads mean most people rely on the clinics, not the 14 hospitals, for healthcare. The project's impact is "massive" because most of Eswatini's 1.3 million people are poor and have low life expectancy.
