Around 2.4 million bees were delivered from Georgia to sell to beekeepers in New York. The bee population has decreased globally, due to excess pesticides and chemicals, but New York does not have this problem. Hives are being found on rooftops and in backyards, and bees are buzzing all around the city due to its growing number of beekeepers.
