His parents would like him to come back in from the garden, but 11-year-old Max Woolsey has been sleeping outside in a tent for more than a year to raise funds for a local hospice that cared for a family friend. Before the friend, Rick Abbott, died last year, he gave Max his tent and said he hoped it would inspire Max to go on adventures. Max has gotten support from his parents, who were nervous at first, as well as from some well-known people in the UK.
