Iconic US doughnut company Krispy Kreme has begun offering free original glazed doughnuts to anyone who shows their vaccination card at participating locations across the country. Beginning yesterday, March 21, the offering will continue for the rest of the year. And it's not just a one-time treat -- the customers can come in any time, any day, to claim a free doughnut with no additional purchases necessary. The chain also plans to deliver doughnuts to healthcare workers and volunteers at vaccination centers in coming weeks, as well as offer employees up to four hours of paid time off to get their own shots. "We all want to get Covid-19 behind us as fast as possible, and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them," Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said in a statement.
