Arta Jashari, a soprano with the Kosovo Philharmonic, compares the work of caring for patients at the Pulmonological Clinic to singing in the Philharmonic. You give so much love and so much hope and so many emotionsand here (at the clinic) it is the same, she said. When Baki Jashari, Arta's father and the maestro of the Philharmonic had Covid-19 Arta nursed her father back to health after the overwhelmed clinic discharged him. She was aided by neighbors who brought food and other essentials to her and her father. Moved by this compassion, Arta decided to head to the clinic and volunteer, helping in any way she could. Arta has no medical training, but assisted doctors in any possible way. I never thought about whether it would be a problem for me if I got infected because I think people's lives matter more than if I get infected or not.
