Chicago's Rush University Medical Center is making house calls in order to get vulnerable patients vaccinated against Covid-19. The program is targeted to people 65 and older in neighborhoods with the highest Covid-19 death and positivity rates who can't get to a clinic. Carmen Flores-Rance, whose mother received the vaccination via a house call, said, This is a blessing to have somebody come to the house, especially when you have somebody who is Latina, a 92-year-old beautiful mother who has dementia and can't do anything for herself.
