At age 17, Haley Bridges of Appleton, Wisc., has already given a bigger gift than most people will in their lifetimes. Bridges had formed a close friendship with her co-worker at Chick-fil-A, Hokule'a Taniguchi. Taniguchi, who goes by Hoku, was commuting to work in Wisconsin's winter on abicycle. Bridges and a group of Chick-fil-A co-workers all agreed that if any of them won a car in the store's annual Christmas raffle, they would give it to Hoku. Luck was with them, and Bridges won; she made good on her commitment and immediately gifted the car to her friend. In a nice twist of fate, Bridges was recently on the receiving end of an act of kindness: Her aunt held a fundraiser and was able to fully pay off Bridges' car.
